Catholic Cardinal prays with Catholic mayor who prefers ficuses to fetuses

PLANT FICUSES, KILL FETUSES: CAMPAIGN PROMISES FULFILLED

From THE LOS ANGELES TIMES ...
"The day began with Villaraigosa and more than 1,000 others attending an interfaith service at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels ...

When he arrived at the cathedral, the mayor and his family, who are Roman Catholics, went to St. Vibiana's Chapel for a private prayer with Cardinal Roger M. Mahony.

... Villaraigosa then led a procession of hundreds down Temple Street to City Hall. Heavy security, some of it by union activists, kept more than a dozen anti-abortion protesters from getting close to Villaraigosa. They followed on the sidewalk chanting, "You can't be a Catholic and pro-abortion."
PLANT FICUSES

From THE LOS ANGELES TIMES ...

"Still keyed up from his swearing-in festivities, Villaraigosa arrived early in a Mid-City neighborhood to help the nonprofit group TreePeople plant a new tree and prune 30 others. He was dressed casually in a short-sleeve shirt and slacks, and seemed eager to help out.

... Villaraigosa had pledged during his campaign that he would plant 1 million trees in the city, and he told more than 30 volunteers and residents of 5th Avenue on Saturday that their work planting and caring for trees would help him realize his dream."
KILL FETUSES

From Prolifeblogs.com

"Villaraigosa is no friend to preborn babies," said [Joseph] Starrs. "According to Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest abortion provider, while serving as a state assemblyman Villaraigosa had a 'perfect' pro-abortion voting record, including a vote in support of partial-birth abortion."

It is painfully obvious to whom the new mayor belongs--another pawn as a dealer of death in the army of the father of death and lies. He is enabled by another pawn of the prince of darkness who calls himself a prince of the Church.
