More of Roger's Angels


Figures of bizzare creatures like the one of above are mounted on the walls throughout Mahony's cathedral in Los Angeles. We are told that they are angels. One would assume that they are of the fallen variety.

I think I've worked out what it is. It's clearly symbolic. If you look at it from the side, it appears to be a crustacean claw about to crush a female's head. The female clearly represents the orthodox Catholic faithful of LA. Now the claw...

No, that's El Cardenal. No, wait, he's a successor of that famed apostle, Judas.

These exemplify what becomes of angels after they get traded to the Dodgers -- as in Roger's Truth Dodgers, that is.
