One million evangelicals in L.A.

"When determining which metropolitan area has the greatest number of evangelical adults, the outcome [of a recent survey] will shock many people: Los Angeles," TBG (The Barna Group) noted. "The city that produces the media often criticized or boycotted by evangelicals is also home to nearly one million of those deeply devout Christians. In fact, there are more evangelical adults in the Los Angeles market than there are in the New York, Chicago and Boston metropolitan areas -- combined!"

Read the full report HERE.

I wonder how many of those one million evangelicals are ex-Catholics.

If Calvery Chapel is any indication of the folks calling themselves Evangelicals in LA then there is a huge difference in what passes for evangelicalism in LA and verses the Bible Belt where I come from.
It must be something in the water or maybe the smog in the air because It is like that for Catholicism too. I feel sorry for you guys, I really do. It drives me nuts watching from afar, much less having to live it. I pray everyday for the reform of the Church in America and for the faithful that have to put up with all the nonsense.

A HUGE percentage are undoubedly ex-Catholics who never knew their faith to begin with or got so disgusted with what passed as the Catholic faith or were so hungry to hear of God that they went to where they felt they could find Him.
