Well it's nice to know California still has nice Cathedrals,apart from the monstrosities in LA, Oakland and was it San Francisco? Sacramento's, fittingly, looks beautiful.
Bishop Weigand has a talent for renovating Cathedrals. (He previously led the renovation of the Cathedral of the Madelaine in Salt Lake City http://www.saltlakecathedral.org/)
The big question is: could even he fix LA?
