If celibate, why does 'gay' or 'straight' matter?

Heresy: The postbaptismal rejection of the authorized teachings of the Holy Church.
Those who reject the Church's teachings on homosexuality are heretics. This would NOT be the only issue that they would be dissenting against. When a person defines themselves as to how they like to have , as thought that is the most important thing--not the things of the things of heaven but a worldly --then they will not be teaching other tenets of the faith a nd will not be leading souls to heaven.
The writer of this piece of drek you have linked to says, "THE CATHOLIC Church seems to be unraveling at an astonishing rate"
My comment: it's partly because of the gay agenda being pushed by those such as Dignity and Mahoney.
The writer goes on to say, "Must it now also insist — for gays only — on celibacy even before entering the priesthood?
Ummmmm....last time I checked - any unmarried person is to be celibate. So that is faulty logic.
Futhermore he writes, "In the late 1960s, the Vatican ignored reality and banned birth control. Droves left the church."
Would that I am part of the faithful remnant at the end of time!!!!!
And then this, "If a priest's "disorder" is deemed to be "transient" and he forswears gay culture and behavior, he could be cleared for ordination — the "it was only a phase" provision."
I have to agree about the "only a phase". I would imagine the majority of gays and lesbians "became" such because they got stuck in a phase.
The Bible spells it out very clearly in Romans 12:2 - "Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect."
'Nuff said!
You mean there are priests that aren't celibate!!!! say it aint so?!
