Does "L" stand for "Liberal?"

Unfortunately, the December 23 Tidings runs the USCCB Film Office's capsule review of the homosexual propaganda movie "Brokeback Mountain" with the no longer valid rating that the USCCB first gave it -- namely, "L," for limited audience. Back on December 16, the USCCB, stung by protests, gave the movie a revised and richly deserved rating of "O," for morally objectionable for everyone, so the Tidings should have picked up on that by now.

No doubt much of the fault lies with the USCCB Film Office, which should have rated the movie "O" right off the bat. Of course, they also should have blasted the film's blatant immorality and crude cinematic propaganda instead of praising it as "a love story."

"L" rhymes with "hell," in this case.

I'm working on my own review of the film and its ideas. But I think it's a mistake to describe the film itself as propaganda. If you've seen the film, I'd be interested to know what elements you saw as propagandistic.

I think 'L' stands for, '(L)ook at the moral corruption at the USCCB.'

And how the heck could you actually be wanting to see it!? It's a gay romance! So what if your friends have seen it...I'm not trying to be mean, but think of your soul....Why, then not go to outright X-rated flicks as long as you're 'not impressionable'?
