"Priestess" resigns from Boston chancery

If you know anyone who thinks that feminist liberal dissenter zealots do not gravitate toward jobs at bloated chancery office staffs, tell them to be sure to check out this news story (click on this post's title) about a bizarre situation in Boston.

It is sad that she resigned and wasn't kicked out. In fact she was thanked for her contributions.

Does anyone wonder what those contributions may have been?

Isn't it interesting that these bogus 'ordinations' take place on water? Sort of like gambling: you know it is wrong and can be sinful but somehow on water makes it okay???

Anon 8:42,

That reminded me of the Simpson's episode where Homer took out Mr. Burns' boat and there were monkey knife fights and a rogue boat rebroadcasting MLB games with only "implied oral consent."

Quintero, I agree. Dissenter zealots seek control at the top. Remember, they have no faith... so success is only measured in power. They lust for it.

Hmmm, kinda makes you wonder if we have any folks like Ms. Marchant in the LA chancery? We certainly have a high number of dissenters.

Oh, one more thing. Thought this was a fascinating line, "Marchant chose to be ordained last year by female bishops associated with Roman Catholic Womenpriests, which says its ordinations are valid because its bishops have been ordained, in secret, by valid Roman Catholic bishops.

For me at least, our LA archbishop would be on any shortlist of bishops that would do such a thing.

Paul, have no fear: The "bishops" they refer to are not valid. Their line of succession is through a Brazilian defrocked ex-priest who later ordained himself a bishop. From there, they've had female (though decidedly non-feminine) bishops.

Consanescerion, is this a word or a title? It is not in my College Dictonary!

Having asked that. Can you give us documentation on the so called Bishop you described who ordained these women?

Some Priest/Bishops/Cardinals are ordained in Sercret, it is called In Pectorae(In the Heart.) However, these women are not. An In Pectorae Priest/Bishop/Cardinal is done with the full consent of Rome (which these women obviously do not have.)This is only done in a situation where the Priest is living in a country like China, where the priest and his parishoners would be in danger.
If these women wanted to live a religous life then the Faithful Companions of Jesus, Sisters of Mercy or the Sisters of St. Dominic would've been happy to have them. Saying they've been ordained in secret is a slap in the face to those who are risking their lives for being a Priest In Pectorae.
