This Lent, let's pray extra for the Pope

Maybe a little more than usual, the Holy Father has been asking people to pray for him.

So during Lent, let's remember that.

A lot of turkeys -- human ones -- are resisting the Pope. What a nerve they have! May they curb and root out their pride and obstinacy.

And may we defend the Vicar of Christ always and no matter what.

(Yes, I know -- we all need to root out our own pride and obstinacy. And Lent is a great time to do that, of course.)
