A pro-life, pro-population verse from the Book of Isaiah

For thus says the LORD, the creator of the heavens, who is God, the designer and maker of the Earth who established it, not creating it to be a waste, but designing it to be lived in: I am the LORD, and there is no other. -- Isaiah 45:18

(Passed along by e-activist Robert Jason, who got it from T. Bloedow.)

Before Isaiah, in Genesis, we are told to "increase and multiply".
In what part of those three words does it say anything about killing offspring prior to birth?

Dear Dino,

You are certainly right -- in Sacred Scripture, God leaves no room for killing preborn babies.

"Increase and multiply" -- what beautiful words.

They remind me of one of the best "Family Circus" cartoons ever: When a lady asks the Mom how she divides her love for her four children, the Mom says, "I don't divide my love, I multiply it."

Amen. Let's pray for the sad souls who are anti-child, anti-population.
