Have a Holy and Merry Christmas! And keep opposing the totalitarian, anti-life socialized medicine

Merry Christmas 2009, and God bless you! Thank you so much for being a friend of this blogspot and for checking in.

As we know, at this Christmas season you and I have to keep opposing the totalitarian, anti-life, unconstitutional, and un-Catholic socialized medicine.

We have to do that -- for the sake of America's abortion-targeted babies, the euthanasia-targeted elderly and all vulnerable Americans, our 624 Catholic hospitals and their 640,000 staffers, all the American people, and our American rights and liberty and way of life.

Baby Jesus, pray for us! Holy Mary, pray for us! St. Joseph, pray for us! Holy Family, pray for us!

The painting above is by Raphael (1483-1520). And here is a poem from the year 1900:

A Christmas Carol
by G. K. Chesterton (1874-1936).

The Christ-child lay on Mary's lap,
His hair was like a light.
(O weary, weary were the world,
But here is all aright.)

The Christ-child lay on Mary's breast,
His hair was like a star.
(O stern and cunning are the kings,
But here the true hearts are.)

The Christ-child lay on Mary's heart,
His hair was like a fire.
(O weary, weary is the world,
But here the world's desire.)

The Christ-child stood at Mary's knee,
His hair was like a crown.
And all the flowers looked up at Him,
And all the stars looked down.
